About these figures. Indicative ocean freight in U.S. dollars, not a quote. RORO prices are the starting point for each vehicle class and move with its exact size, the sailing and carrier surcharges. Container prices are 40-foot high cube quotes from 2025 to 2026; two cars sharing one container split it. Everything in the next section is extra. The only binding price is the written quote from a CargoMax office.

How much does it cost to ship a car to Venezuela?
By RORO from Port Everglades, Florida, to Puerto Cabello, ocean freight starts at about USD 1,900 for a sedan, 2,050 for an SUV and 3,150 for a full-size pickup. From Canada, a 40-foot container ran USD 2,700 to 4,600 in 2025 and 2026 and holds two cars, so each pays half. Trucking to the port, export papers, Venezuelan port charges, duties and VAT come on top.
How do I ship a car from the USA to Venezuela?
Send us the year, make, model and where the car is. We truck it to Port Everglades or you deliver it, U.S. Customs validates the title, and the car sails RORO to Puerto Cabello, where the consignee’s customs agent clears it.
What are the requirements to ship a car to Venezuela?
The original title in the shipper’s name, or a bill of sale if it is in another name, the shipper’s ID, and the consignee’s RIF or cédula with an address and phone in Venezuela. By RORO the car travels empty; in a container belongings go on the packing list.
How much does it cost to ship a motorcycle to Venezuela?
A motorcycle usually travels in a container, alone or next to a car, which is the cheapest way when you are already shipping one. Send us the model and where it is for a written price.
Can a car travel to Venezuela as luggage?
No. A car always travels as cargo, with its own bill of lading and its own customs entry in Venezuela. What can travel with it, in a container, are belongings listed on the packing list.
Can I ship a used car to Venezuela?
Venezuela’s rules on used vehicles have changed several times and depend on the vehicle and its year. Ask us before you buy: the consignee’s customs agent confirms what applies to that exact car.
Year, make, model. That is all we need.
Tell us where the car is and which Venezuelan port you want; we answer with RORO and container side by side, in writing.
